I guess it don't matter free or not but it is in the afternoon time. And everybody at work but it's alot still at the malls also. Getting them last minute gifts before christmas time. Roots rock reggae for two hours straight going in from the gate. I was feeling good good last night and also today. Must be the holiday spirit going round here I suppose. Mangos off of Newtown road in Virginia Beach was the spot today. I did a little fill in for my man chill will. I played like two and a half hours of everything. I felt real good today even though I was playing for twenty people. Even seen one of my sister old friends up in there also. Nobody had to tell me if I done a good or bad job tonight. Cause I know I did my thing, plus only used one turntable. Not by choice either I had too cause STREZ ass was in the bed. He's getting laid out tomorrow for real. This was a long time coming though so good or bad comments I really could care less. You cant do it like I do it at all. It's still something missing I have to work on it and do another version on it. But its still fresh if you ask me.

We went all the way to 2:30 tonight yo.I mean the people and the cars outside was off the chain. And the meat rack was open for service for what ever you felt like you had a taste for. I thought we was like at the hampton coliseum up in that jank man. I had my laptop on me tonight everybody knew i was comfortable then. I rocked for two hours hard but leaving my big cuz DJ Jack Of Spade lead way so he can just murder them on out. Bye the end of the night it seemed like the entire building was dragging ass. Its hot like man its steaming like i cant explain. The girls was just fighting tonight why i still dont understand or know.
The way Jack and i switch pc's is like ayo mc talk on the mic real quick so we can do this real quick and easy like. 3 seconds like the gobots he was on and running spiting on the mic and the rest his history. I got my shine in its something bout being on stage and the sound is right and everybody dancing reacting to you. Its a wonderful feeling of a life time man.

I have to say thank you for Mr. Mrs. Green tonight for letting me do there daughters sweet 16 party. It was my first sweet 16 party with all asian. Still trying to figure out what radio station them little whipper snappers listen too. I took it evey where tonight. And I needed the request tonight cause for the first time I was lost some kind of what. But my man Randy from Bounce Time Ent. was there to show me support so I was good. But he was no help at all. For seven hours straight I was running music since 5'oclock all the way to 11 tonight. Oh yeah trust me when I tell you I didi not run anything twice at all still. They breakdancing in there and the whole nine so yeah I took it back to beat street and breaking day's ya know. Every body told me I did a real good job tonight. This was the party by Cheesetown Entertainment my brother DJ C-NIL and cant forget Ms.Pudding. What set the nite off mama and daddy came through to show there support for there son's. Knowing that I was gonna be there regardless. It was so good on us that we didn't even have to do our own sound tonight. So also big ups to Bouncetime Entertainment with the quaking sound system. Shout out to effects that slid through to help us move all this equipment. But all i have to say it was more women then guys in that piece last night. I'm talking old and young cousins and aunts the whole nine yards. So hot up in there for one they had the heat on."yeah!" I guess the AC was broke they just opened the doors to let some air in. Cause it was steaming like you could see the fog floating in the building. Nobody had no blazer damn for real no shirts on bye the end of the night. Its was a good 150-200 people up in there just taking a guess. If it wasn't it looks and sound good right. But I beleave it was round that for real though. Yep,in the deep creek else lodge to been doing this lodge right now for the last 6 months and i keep forgetting to take a picture. Would be nice if we had a dedicated camera man.

If your djing with a well known artist on tour. And they cant supply you with new equipment. Atleast some new turntables,we know being humble is everything. But after that third show i know whats gonna be running through my mind. Simple facts is when you hooking your equipment up. Cause you as a dj have to be there when the sound check is going on. Before the artist even gets there. You have to make sure where your monitor is placed. How loud you want it,the equal level of song when played. And get a feel for the open space. To train your ears fast to know what you have to do when you mix. So everything will sound even. Give signals to the engineer to let him,or she know that your sound isn't right. Get envoled with the perfomance dont just be a dj. Your where you strived to be and knowing others are watching and waiting for you to make a mistake. I will be the one going out trying to take your job. And many others to follow. Meaning if your scared and shaking thats still all cool. But when that first sound out them speakers hit. And you feel that record on your other hand. And your hand is still shaking. Kick rocks cause you need more house party,lodges,birthday,weddings,and club time. Or more dedication with this craft. Like Jay-Z say. Its not for everybody. In closing just get ableton and press buttons and turn knobs. Those wheels are some deadly weapons man.

Man it was i was tore up lastnight. The first jump off was for Tanisha son birthday party at community center off of great neck out the beach. Stayed up there for like 2min. Then Efx came and got to go to the deep creek else lodge. To hold it down til C-Nil got done at the birthday party. I was in there running it ,but i really ran it lastnight. I even surprised myself. Yeah i know i should be no problem look how long you been doing it. I know i know. But that being said,i got ripped out the frame. I wasnt driving though so dont worry. Wondering The Bridge
Im still thinking about the ableton serato bridge. I've been checking all the post,and sites. Thousands of dj's writing about this new partnership. The turn of the century of djing plus its free huh. Not really just have to get them programs. But what i want to know is that nobody never asked the main biggest question of the all. Do we still use two interfaces ,or one. Me using the ttm57 by rane would be lovely just to come out the main. For simple play stop loop effect just on ableton. And simple use of the turntables in scratchlive. Just to keep everything mobile but with the exception of the akai apc40. Now how is that gonna work with them running together and you have the same midi message reacting with both programs running at one time. Will there be presets in both application to set either one or more midi controllers to a certain app. Well when it comes out im still getting it regardless. I need to get use to the new warpping engine in live 8. Like I'am with live 6-7. Change gone come with alot with this new year and technology and war.

Founders Inn
This was a beautiful wedding and reception today. Everything was on point,dont know bout the food part. But i know they was even serving breakfast up in that piece man. It was done up in that jank. Plus the slide show pics off the projector and the whole nine. Then come to fine out that my 1st cousin is in the wedding. And i knew thr groom since we was young boys like round 5-6 man. It was a really goodnight, day, today man. I had a ball it was great. O yeah and check the light scheme ya know. Ha haaaaa. Ya dig.You cant fade it for real.
Birthday Party
Had a good time for a last minute party. Old school type jank/new with a dash of it. With brothers entertainment. I guess they got tired after all the line dance songs kept coming back too back. Had to take they ass to a simple 2 step. Like the jamie foxx blame it on the alcohol jank. Then rode it on out to wasted gucci. And they wasy rocking. Surprised the hell out of me. Well thats chesapeake for ya anyway trying to stay in the hip and new with the young side of life. Well i really forgot to take a pic tonight so. O well(Pharell) gotta wedding reception in the afternoon so lets see how this go. And wedding to,black folk DJ all the way through,dag!

Namm 2010 Serato Ableton
Here it is people,the way of a lifetime. The Collab the bridge,its free only if you have ableton live 8 ,and a ttmd7 or sl3 by serato. To all registered users of theses two most beautiful programs. Serato even has a 2.0vr now unless its just to complement ableton. All in all i have been waiting for this for awhole year now. And ir is finally here. Lets get it poppin then.
R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass dies at 59
Pendergrass, known for smash love ballads such as "Turn Off the Lights" and "Love TKO," died after a long illness, according to Lisa Barbaris, who described herself as a close friend and his last publicist.
He died at a hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was born.
His family did not reveal details about his illness, but said it was related to complications from a 1982 car accident, Barbaris said.
"His beloved family surrounded him. The world has lost one of its greatest voices and performers," a statement from Barbaris said.

Here again tonight with the new year. Really not a big deal to me anyway. I didnt even take a picture tonight either. No more videos til they pay like it weigh too.But with these young drunk fools spilling drinks everywhere. And cant hold there liquor its a shame. The hold thing was funny tonight me and the people. It was still a really good turn out. I think that all the mature ones wasnt tying to get ripped. Cause of holiday weekend,check points and had to deal with the police. I can dig that. I think im just getting away from doing parties. And just stick to dj battles. Or find a spot where i can just be myself. Im really sick of rap music is the problem. Cant even play no new reggae. Unless its unfinished buissness. Plus thats old too came old in 2008. Well until i get my ableton stuff comfortable to where i be on the turntables. Im just keep doing it like that.
